After months of researching photo destinations, hot pot (spring) locations and building this blog site, it is almost time to go. A look at the weather shows the highs will be in the mid-40s to 50s with a forecast 60 to 80 percent chance of rain each day (what does that mean?). It looks like there will be ample opportunity to try out our new rain gear, and to get some moody shots in the mists. The sun will be below the horizon for 4 to 5 hours at “night” so there looks to be little chance of seeing the northern lights. Will see how shooting the golden hours shakes out while at the same time getting some sleep, or having the energy to write this blog on a daily basis.
